I needed to know what video card would be compatible beside my HP slimline desktop?

If its a slimline computer, a regular PCI, agp, or pciX sports car will not fit into the computer. You need to find out what species of avalible slots are in the computer if any. The smaller form factor pcs usually do not move out much room or standard expansion slots. Sometime the slimline computers will use a mini-pci video card but it all depends on the how the slimline computer is setup. Slim computers don't really conform to a standard computer setup so in that generally difficult to upgrade.
it should hold a built in video card travel for a graphics card instead this will handle ur video desires aswell. i preffer the nvidia 6100 series for the budget oriented customer .plus thats the max ur system can toy with
