Only for GEEKS: I cant install this Ram memory!!?

I lately bought a 1Gb ddr ram specifically supposed to work on mi motherboard, but i have the following problem:

If i put it alone (whithout the ripened memory card i had) the pc doesnt work and the bios make a beeping nouns that acording to the web page mechanism that theres a grafic problem.

If i put both cards(the old and the topical one) on the motherboard, then it works but an error message say that theres a missing file and window doesnt start.

If i put only the hoary memory on the motherboard then the computer works fine similar to always did

WTF is going on?

Answer:
Your memory must be compatible near you motherboard. If you still have the manual that came next to your computer or motherboard it should tell you what of memory and how much memory it will allow.

If you do not know where on earth the manuals are, and do not know your motherboards create and model, you can go here.

Click 'Scan My Computer' at the top of the page and it will update you what kind of memory you want as well as what your motherboard is.
No such point as RAM Memory - its just plain RAM.

Check again to confirm your motherboard supports the RAM you are trying to use and that it doesn't hold to be installed in pairs.

Double check the hoot codes for your BIOS - you'll probably find that it is a memory issue, not a graphic one.
conceivably your new memory is diluted. you should take it put money on to the shop exchange it .try the new one and if that does not work try asking an expert
Either the contemporary memory is bad, or it is not compatible beside the motherboard. Example: If you had ddr 200 and trying to use ddr 400, it will not work.
