My USB Flash Drive is ruined?!?

I plug it into my computer and it shows the self. Then it shows all the files I hold saved surrounded by it. But the thing is when I try to release anything in it, it simply gives me an I/O device error. Or sometimes it say too many files clear when it is not the case. Some times it say that the device is too full which is not the case any. Sometimes it says that could not access to device. When I step to the device's properties in Device Manager, it shows that 'the device is working properly'. But it is not 'cos it is not in your favour anything in it. Anyone beside any tips??

I have a Windowns XP

Dear

There may be some error contained by the USB flash drive, U just right click the drive and bequeath the format command, it will be completely formatted and u can use it now.

Please follow the instructions scarcely

Don't unplug the device without stoping its function surrounded by the system. (stop the service in device properties)

Don't try to copy lot of files at a time contained by the drive,

do one by one,

keep the drive undamagingly and use smoothly
may be its time to buy a new one:-)
