I'm trying to burn a movie to a dvd disc but my drive can't read the disc can someone oblige?

this is my drive lite-on combo sohc-4832k the disc that i'm trying to use is tdk dvd-rw 120minute 4.7gb

Answer:
It's not much of a surprise it won't adopt the disk, that drive doesn't have DVD writing capability. It'll write normal CDs, and it'll *read* DVDs, but it won't *write* DVDs.

And previously you ask the inevitable question: no, there's no mode to make it write DVDs, the capability of any disc drive are hardware based, there's no style to change that. If you want to burn DVD discs you'll obligation to buy an actual DVD writer drive and install it in your apparatus.
have you checked the blank disc is not scratched or destabilized?
Make sure it is compatible with your dvd writer and- cause sure the DVD has not be messed up. If you tried several times with no nouns or not used it properly afterwards chances are the dvd is usesless in a minute.
