160 GB Western Digital Passport Portable Hard Drive??

I in recent times bought one and installed it. In "My Computer" where you can click on your drives to see their info, it say the portable hard drive individual has 149 GB dimensions, not 160. Is this normal? I simply bought it and all that is to say on there so far is my bookmarks (hardly 11 G worth.) Thanks

Answer:
its because the drive have information on it that it needs to process... they also enjoy volume's and auto backup options that help yourself to up room on them
My coworker bought one of these yesterday. His is 149 GB too. Not sure why but they all seem to be to be that way.
Yes thats average, no drive has the exact amount of compacity, presently if it show 119 insteal of 160 then you get jiped
its probaby normal. my computer didn't even come beside the right GB's. It was suppose to be 40 and it say 37.
It is normal. My 80 Gig have 79,990,812,672 bytes as the capacity. to the side of that it say it is 74.4 GB

You can see this by opening explorer and right clicking on your drive and select properties. It is lower than the general tab (which is probably the defaulting tab).
