Recording DVD-Rs and CD-Rs?
I understand my burner will burn solitary at 8X and 24X speeds respectively, but can I use 52X CD-Rs and 16X DVD-Rs?
Answer:
Yes you can, however the drive will only burn at the drive's speed (the peak common speed that the drive and medium have surrounded by common, contained by this case it would be dvd @ 8x and cd's @ 24x).
hope this answers your put somebody through the mill.
Yes you can use faster disks in slower drives but remember that the drives will still burn at the maximum speed they are built for. Using a faster disk will not speed them up.
Basically yes the disks will be fine.
hi dear friends
if your writer max speed is 8 and 24 it channel it works for all caring of disc and the speed on cd means that the max speed that u can use to burn your information on that disc is for example 52x
so u can use you writer for 52X disc or maybe difficult but maximum speed will be 24X
some additional info for u:
burn vcd beside 8 and maximum 12 speed
data from 8 up to 16
