Will the dell dimension 4600 know how to run the GeForce 6600 series.?

Right immediately i'm running the less than stellar intel 82865 chip. Also is the 6600 suitable for games, epecially half-life 2 and counter-strike source. Thanks alot!

The 6600 was a right card, in its morning a few years ago... go next to a 6600GT if you are going to use it. I can't tell you how in good health it will run some of the newer games, but it will definitely be a big raise over what you have. If you enjoy an agp or pci-x slot on board, it should work, if you buy the complementary card.
