My computer speakers are OK when i try them on radio but will not work on computer oblige?

Agreeing near everybody else with downloading the drivers for your soundcard - also check you've plugged your speakers within the right bit - I know a few people who own had that problem, with the sole purpose to find out they'd plugged them in the wrong hole.........!
This seem to be a software problem. Check the audio properties in Windows. START, SETUP, CONTROL PANEL, nouns devices. Maybe sound have been disabled.
Other possibility is that the nouns card doesn't have the drivers installed, right click contained by "My PC" icon and choose Properties, afterwards hardware, and then device checker. Your PC manufacturer must provide you the driver.
Go to the manufacturer website and download the drivers needed so your p.c recognises the speakers then they will work.
There may be an likelihood in the "add hot hardware" section on xp I can't remember what I did near mine
Check ALL of the volume properties. If none are muted or tuned all the method down, you need a tentative sound card.
Check you nouns driver. Right click on "my computer" then choose "Properties" & next select the "Hardware" tab. then click on "Device Manager" afterwards expand the "Sound, Video & Games Contorlers". You have checked the speakers and they work so i would suggest your problem is the computer or related make a payment in cards (sound) or drivers for said card. You may not hold loaded the drivers for the soundcard or it may be configured improperly. past I go into depth in the region of drivers. first thing to check is that you are inserting the speakers surrounded by the correct place. the colour of the socket the plug should go into is green (red for mic) or it will own a little pictographic next to the socket. Make sure that the plug is pushed fully home, into the socket.
it may be expedient to try a set of receiver in the socket if no results are forthcoming. Next if in attendance is still no sound from any headphones or speakers. i suggest you look into what soundcard is installed within your system. to find out either look within your device manager. consult computer specification or as a ultimate resort open it and look. download or get relevant drivers for said card and install. this should resolve the problem. if you have difficulty within finding out what your soundcard is then i suggest you take the motherboard information ( name and number ) usually found on the board itself and look into the net.(if included on motherboard. or if your soundcard is a separate donate in board, look for the describe or any stamps logos etc on it. if no stamps are evident after try typing in the chip numbers from the board. if adjectives else fails step buy a cheap soundcard and install that.
If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem near device drivers, hardware or software.
