Problem near unsullied graphics card.?

I just now upgraded my obsolete GeForce 440MX which be fine for everything except the new games. I presently have a 7600 GS which is unfaultable for everthing bit movies. When try play a movie clip (of even 2 minutes) the computer runs at a depressingly slow speed at which I cant do anything until I restart my pc. At first I thought it be RAM or something, but then out of curiosity, I replaced my contemporary graphics card with my mature one, and the movies ran clearly! Does anyone know what the problem is? Oh and the latest drivers are installed.

Thanks contained by advanced,
Wesley

Answer:
