I enjoy a SanDisk U3 Smart Drive 2GB that I have profusely of files on. I just tried to plug it surrounded by, but the U3 partition doesn't mount, nor does the profile partition. For the U3 dividing wall, it says "please insert a disk into drive X:", and for the report partition, it say "The disk in drive H is not formatted, format it now" which I don't want to do, because I'll lose everything. Any suggestions to fix this would be nice. Thanks.

Are the software or drivers that come with the smartdrive still installed if at hand were any? Try it surrounded by a diff. computer if it does same thing, you can bet that any your data is unrecoverable and you will hold to format the smartdrive b/c there be a file corruption on it, or the drive have gone bad and formatting wont facilitate anyways..
