With window vista immediately on the bazaar, will window xp soon be useless?
Answer:
Naaa, Operating systems usually stick around even after they've be updated a view times. Even though Microsoft is really trying to supply Vista most PC users will still be using XP for a while. Usually the only those that go out and upgrade right away are general public with money to burn, or nerds similar to myself lol.
NO!
Depends on MS business model. Going by their history eventually it will as they phased out 95, NT & 2k. I guess like any business they are in recent times waiting to clear the existing inventry before pulling the plug.
XP won't become outmoded for several years. It will take that long for the trunk bugs in Vista to win ironed out. Remember, Microsoft has a okay established reputation for putting ou very BUGGY software.
Nooooo.
Think almost how many empire aren't gonna upgrade. Microsoft needed Vista bad but they made too heaps versions and didn't spend plenty time testing. Although they are getting your strength back at testing compared to 2000, ME, 98.
Plus alot of vendor haven't made drivers for their software in Vista.
Definately not, Microsoft have plans to support XP for at least the subsequent 7 years.
Not in the implicit future. Big businesses won't step into the unknown.
Give it a 3 year time-frame, heck, window 98 survived until 2004, which is quite long.
