I can no longer use my external tough drive?

Its a beyond micro (BM250MD3U2) of late under a year outmoded. When i connect it to my pc it see that i am connected. The problem is when i try to acces files on it i get the following messeg.
E:\ is not accessible
The directory or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

have you tryed it on another computer?
you may try to instigate it up and make sure it didnt come unplugged inside its crust.
if it contains important files that you have need of to revover, you may remove the drive from the case and connect it directly inside your computer and possibly recuperate the files.

i have have a number of external drives progress bad, but every time the drive inside the baggage was still fitting and the files were intact, so psyche recomend cracking its case and putting it inside your computer to get better its files.
The error told you all you want to know. Try running check disk. If that doesn't work you might have to thieve it some where to enjoy the data recovered. A local shop should know how to do it.

Just get it to a shop and see if they can do something around it for you. Don't try yourself, you may make things worse!
