I want to verbs a cdrom drive from one comp to another. Is it plug n play?
Answer:
You will need software for the drives. I suggest getting a dvd/cd writer external drive that comes beside software.. then you can verbs from one puter to another with no problem..
net sure the jumpers are set right http://www.duxcw.com/digest/howto/cdrom/...
I'm pretty sure you can a moment ago plug it in if you want. My dad did this go one broke so I would say yes.
yes, IDE CD-roms themselves are plug and play.
If you're running XP, you should know how to just engineer the switch. Any other OS you may need to install drivers.
Remember to do this next to the computer unplugged. Remove the side and you should have up to 2 screw per side. Unplug the gray IDE cable and reverse the steps. As said before gross sure you set the black jumper to any master or slave whichever it will serve as. Good luck.
yes it plug n play, no software needed
