Can i upgrade my compaq desktop beside an better graphics card?

i bought it within 2004, i know that means it is already 95 years out-of-date in computer time but I would close to to squeeze a little more out of it past I have to put it down.

Answer:
Depend on whats on it in a minute, or what model it is, if it has an AGP slot, consequently you should be able to upgrade it beside a better model.
Most newer PC will have PCI-X slots, these are more powerful and in that are now more choices to choose from, but a 2 year prehistoric PC seem unlikely to own one.
You could start by telling us what generous of computer you have--and by that I mean a model number. At any rate, 2004 wasn't that long ago, so, depending on what big-hearted of expansion slots you have, you should be capable of upgrade. But of course, not a soul can tell you for sure lacking more information.
hey hey hey graphic cards are plugged within the CPU NOT IN YOUR DESKTOP OR MONITOR.

AS FOR THE COMPAQ.YES U CAN UPGRADE.

I HAVE UPGRADED MY COMPAQ LAPTOP WHICH I SOLD IT FOR AN EXCHANGE OFFER FOR HP LAPTOP.
