I am on a laptop and it have a cd burner and i normally can burn cds beside no problems but when i tried today i opened window media player and put a playlist into the burn box and at the top it says Connect a burner and restart the player. did i do something wrong to spawn it not recognize the burner or what did i do? what can i do to fix it

window media player, can't detect your drive, this could be because desperate cd drivers. I would try to reinstall windows medium, from here:

and if that doesn't work then walk to your manufacture's website and look for new drivers for your cd drive.
Windows is easiest.
I used to bring this...If you have an XP thats duly recent, you can use the Nero express program that comes pre-loaded...
If nothing else in recent times download that, or do what the first guy said..
