I own two 512 mb bump and when I plug surrounded by both of them my computer dont start up.?

But when I plug contained by only one everything seem to start normally. Why is that. I have both Ram working the same time on my dated motherboard, but It dont work together with my contemporary motherboard. is there a process to configure this that i dont know about

You should really specify your ancient and new mobo's so you can go and get an exact answer;

A few things it may be:

The new motherbard may not adopt the total amount of ram.

The hot mobo may accept mixed memory types, but will usually single accept elder types on certain memory bank (your mobo manual should be capable of tell you this.

Maybe the second memory mound on the new mobo is malfunctioning.

Are both the sticks of memory impossible to tell apart speed? Your old mobo may be more tolerant than the topical one.

Best thing is to look at the untried mobo manual - if you dont hold this you can google for your new mobo model to stir straight to the mobo manufacturing website which should any have the full spec of your mobo or allow you to download the mobo instruction manual.

youve get a memory mismatch....make sure the chips are from like peas in a pod company, check the speed, voltage, pin numbers, etc.
if you switch the sticks you might be able to bring away with it, at the risk of your computer crashing occasionally.

One of the bump cards may be incompatible. Try starting up with one bump card then help yourself to it out and use the other. If it starts with a moment ago one card in it, i.e. your problem. Let us know in comments.

Newer computers own the ability to use RAM contained by dual channel mode when two compatible stick are installed.. if two mismatched sticks are installed this may be causing a problem. If you can budge to the bios setup screen as soon as you boot up next to two sticks in it. See if in that are ram adjustment that you can make to obtain the memory to work.

Hey there are two kind of Memory Slots available in Market...1- is "DDR" and 2-is "SDR" ....wht is Model of ur MotherBoard...
