Why is corsair memory cheaper?

Corsair memory, even ValueSelect, is almost never cheaper than other brands. Their XMS2 series is hugely high downfall and uses Micron D-9 ICs. They also make some of the fastest memory contained by the world. ValueSelect, despite it's name, is terribly good standard and should not be underestimated. Anyway, it's expendable to buy Corsair but they do make excellent RAM!
I checked that site and I'm pretty sure it's not. A stick of Corsair brand knock against and another stick from a different brand that has duplicate specs (size, frequency, latency, heatspreaders, etc) will both cost the same.
Because your looking at valuselect probably, the xms2 is not cheap, nor slow..
