Why dont we hold CDs of different capacity -like 100Mb disc OR 250Mb compact disc ?

Manufacturing cost of disc depends on its physical size and not on the capacity contained by GB. Therefore no one make CD of smaller dimensions.

You want to achieve the most you can fit on the CD - which is 700 MB. Or roughly 140 on a mini compact disc. The majority CD (5") can hold up to 700 Mb so why own a lower capacity within the same.
We also enjoy a lower capacity (8 cm size) which can hold 80 to 140 Mb. The 80 MB is where on earth it has two sides flat to look similar to a visiting card.
