I reinstalld window xp service pack2 after my comp crashed.but presently my speakers dont work. latest nouns drivers?
Answer:
Go to start Control Panel, Sound and Audio devices. There you can check/set up your audio. If you have a nouns card, go to START and select what ever your nouns card is and check its settings.

Did you carry a disc with your notebook that says driver(s) on it?
The exact same point happened to me. If you use a Dell, progress to dell.com and support and drivers and click on drivers. Then state your model. If you don't have a dell, check next to your manufacturer's webpage, theres bound to be drivers you can download.
