What does my ddr2 hold to do near the video card I plan to buy?

Im looking at video cards on newegg and I hold on to reading "DDR". I know my computer has DDR2 but I want to Upgrade to a better video card. What do you sudgest?

Answer:
Has nought to do with it as long as your motherboard have the proper slot : AGP or PCI-E , then the card will fit.

My mobo have DDR RAM, and my videocard has DDR3, and they work great together.
DDR stands for Dual Data Rate significance they process data twice per clock cycle thus they are twice as briskly. If you are playing games on your computer the extra speed will make a great difference so grasp as much DDR as you can afford.
Upgrade to a card with a greater DDR. This means that hyour video card will share les of the knock against in your mother board near processes the application. It you get a lower memry video card, it will depend more on the run into on your computer, slowing it down.
