Who can support me whit my notebook?
Answer:
check the specs of your current computer and make sure it will manipulate vista. I would recommend more if your pc is process above minimum system requirements.
(probably should backup anything important previously you start)
you may be able to do an install over your current XP, that path your programs should be intact and you won't loose anything. I like to start fresh respectively time though, but you could try it and if its glitchy or something just do it again but format the drive during the install process
If thats the grip then definately backup any essential data (documents, outlook post, music, favorites etc..) onto CD's. or if you have nil important or that you want to keep hold of. then you can put vista surrounded by your drive and as long as your BIOS is set to boot from cd. it will say press any knob to boot from cd. Just follow the directions should be simple. to be sure it is fresh you can delete the partition and recreate it consequently format the drive. just follow the install steps similar to I said should be simple.
FIRST: Buy a manual.
NEXT: Buy a dictionary.
Buy Vista, install it, within won't be anymore xp on your computer.
there are two things
1- your computer is fanlight vista basic
2- your computer is "free upgrade to window vista"
you said dont want an upgrade!!!
you have to walk step by step you can not do vista , you have to xp first afterwards install the upgrade ..you dont need to buy anything of late call them and ask them for a disc.
if you own a compaq, is your lucky day check the disc sometimes they distribute the full basic reworked copy
