Can I bring an adaptor to kind my Video card work when it doesnt fit contained by the slot?

I bought a G force 6600 graphics card on Dutch auction for $69.99 from compusa (the original price is 179).

It is SLI in position and made by PNY technologies

It say that it needs a PCIe 16 slot to fit it into. I could not find a correct size port to fit the drive into. Is within a way to purchase a module to put over the card to cut it so that it will fit in the desired port?

My desire was to be paid it so I can have duel screen. Since I got such a large amount on this one, i would hate to enjoy to return it and I dont have 170+ to spend on another one to be precise compatible.

Do they make adaptors?

What would you suggest as my best route?

Thanks for your help

Answer:
You want a AGP graphics card not PCIe 16. Install contained by AGP Slot, which is top slot and has locking tab on one fall.

been a hardware geek for a while and I hold never heard of this benevolent of adapter. I would suggest saving up and getting the PCIe. You will be glad you did
no that part of a set unfortunatly is for really newer computers second youll have to gain a pci videocard or a pci graphics accelerator card id recomend looking on ebay or at twocows.com or at www.pricewatch.com to find one i hope this help
There are no adapters that you can get that card to work on your motherboard. Unfortunately, to use that card surrounded by your system, you would need a unknown motherboard that supports your card.
