Can one upgrade the refurbished Macs resembling the you can beside the tentative Macs e.g. RAM, HD or Graphics Card?
Answer:
I don't deduce so...
The build-to-order Macs on the Apple site are built with your specs and upgrades. The refurbs "are what they are", but they of course can be upgraded later.
FWIW, I've purchased Apple refurbs and they be perfectly fine machines. No problems.
The refurbished stock on the Apple site change daily. Maybe if you monitor it, the machine you want will come up.

RAM-yes
HD- yes (a pro should do it)

All parts of any personal computer can be upgraded.....despite the hype a mac is still a personal computer, its just set up differently contained by its operating system and how that os uses its parts. The graphics card is trickier than memory, and the hard drive a moment ago has to be compatible near the mac you want to upgrade. The G4 towers were easier to upgrade because they be setup more like a laptop in the route the components were laid out....upgrading an imac however is more difficult to do.....and if its any type of mac that have all the "stuff" built surrounded by to the monitor, its like upgrading a laptop....the parts are easier said than done to get to and expensive. Overall if you are looking to upgrade a mac next to all those components, you are not that far away (dollar wise) from lately replacing it.
