Well, The 8800gtx is BUT surrounded by terms of self able to accually put it to suitable use you gonn have to dally a year because direct x 10 isnt even out yet and games wont be made beside it for a long time so i would recomend the 7900gt. it will be fine untill u decide to upgrade even futher.
If you enjoy the cash and the 8800GTX can fit contained by your case (its really long), the 8800GTX is far superior.
The 8800 is faster so it should get something done better.
