Help next to external Hard Drive Enclosure background reclamation?

My desktop crashed (still working on finding out the problem) and I purchased a knotty drive enclosure to retrieve the data from the crashed computer and put them on a laptop. So far everything works except adjectives of my music and photos from college are in the "My Documents and Settings" folder which I cannot access because "Access is Denied", since I have an account near a password on my old computer. Is here any way to shift around this?

Answer:
login as an administrator on your laptop then right-click on the folder and step to properties, then to the warranty tab. from there, click Advanced, consequently to the Owner tab. Take ownership of the directory and all the files inside the folder (click the checkbox at the bottom).

Now you should be able to copy the files to where on earth you need them.
you're probably looking contained by the wrong folder if you know the name of one of the pics turn out for it and note the location of it I've done that myself once or twice
