Why doesnt my laptop recognise my 1GB SD digicam photo card?

i hold tried it on a couple of machines and it doesnt access the images. i can use the card fine surrounded by the camera and in my printer (my printer finds the imagery and prints them out as normal). Laptop doesnt find SD card when i connect camera by USB either.

Maybe your computer hasn't get the correct software to read the card... due to slightly different formatting, yet the printer have the software pre-installed. You may solve this by downloading a piece of software from the net. A flush engine query may put you on the right track.

Will this do anything? , start menu/all programs/accessories/ scanner and camera wizard.
