What munificent of Graphics card can I draw from?

The 6 series is outdated. I have a 6600gt, and it can hardly play BF2 or FSX, so I advise you to gain something better.
I just built a computer near a 8500gt and its amazing, about 20 times as powerful as a 5500 and twice as powerful as any 6 series, it can max out every setting. There are cards better than that, but its dutiful enough. It runs nearly $75 on newegg.com, which is a very generous reputable online retailer.
Oh, and the amount of memory has greatly little to do with the deeds. a 128mb 6600gt would slaughter a 256mb 6200.
Which ever has mre graphics memory on it e.g. 256 MB or 512MB
The best article to do is look at the system requirements on the box to make sure the system will run the graphics card. Also, if you travel to a good computer store, they will agree to you know whats best on the market in a minute...things change so nifty, its hard to hang on to up.good luck, hope this help.

it all comes down to if you want a fun winter sport or a pretty game, (or substancially both)
How much do you precision about the "pretty" contained by the games you play and what future games require for their "pretty" to be pretty,
Nvidia is greater than ATI surrounded by my personal opinion, polite choice on the brands,
i suggest get a graphics card that will soothe your needs and any excess money buy a fun game to experiment it out on
