USB ports are matching front to back. But the solely reason you flach drive should be getting hot is because your transfering notes to or from it. What are you using the flash drive for? the only time i've have them get hot is if within a wireless adaptor, if i have a team game installed on it so i can play the game anywhere, or if im playing a movie from it. Constant transfering of notes will make it fry up super fast and super hot. But Im sure it will not receive a difference as to which USB port ou use.
