What usb port do i use to connect my 1gb usb for abiding background...?

What are you using the flash drive for? the only time i've have them get hot is if within a wireless adaptor, if i have a team game installed on it so i can play the game anywhere, or if im playing a movie from it. Constant transfering of notes will make it fry up super fast and super hot. But Im sure it will not receive a difference as to which USB port ou use.
