I'm trying to copy pics from my computer to my SD card. I go and get an error wise saying card is write protected.?

I don't know about SD cards but on floppy disks when it say that it's becuase there is for a time.....I guess you would call it a switch or a tab. You can push it up or down and any the up or down will make it write protect or not write protect. Try looking on the SD card for something close to that. Also heard that putting a peice of cartridge over the switch (if it has one) will oblige.

Try formatting your card (it may take a long time to format). If that doesn't work, convey an email to the manufacturer stating your problem. They can explain to you what to do.
