Working Headphones Not Working On Computer.?

I simply used the headphones on this computer more or less 1 month ago they worked fine. I plug them in immediately and the sound comes through the speakers. I tried two different types of phone. How do I get the to work!?

Answer:
There might change reasons for this:

1. Your computer is on mute
Check to get sure sounds come out when you unplug your earphones. If no sounds come up, step to Volume Control and see if your system is on mute.

2. You inserted your phone to the wrong jack
See if you attached your earphone to the correct jack as usually motherboard contains three jacks: rank in, line-out, and mic. Usually, vein out, which is used for the speakers and sounds, is in the middle

3. Windows Problems
There might be problems next to your sound card or nouns card drivers
