I own ddr motherboard, is it possible i can upgrade to radeon X1600? in the past I use x550?

Basically, if you are inserting a card near the same format, (agp/pci-e), afterwards the upgrade card should work. If your previous card was a x550 pci-e card, after you can install a pci-e x1600, and visa versa for AGP cards.
