Help me surrounded by format,divider and reinstall Windows XP..?
Explain me how to do this? I don't enjoy Partition Magic to do this.So i tried FDISK in DOS.But it is giving ' FDISK is not recognised as internal or external command'.So lend a hand me in formatting,partitioning and reinstalling XP?
But here is option within XP CD itself for formatting and Partitioning,but for me it is not asking that step?

if you are have only one local drive must be C afterwards insert the cd of XP and boot the pc and delete adjectives your partition and form as many partition as you want there is a chance to create partions while installing windows xp. purely follow the instructions and dont think that this will ruin your workstation.

To make partition, it is not necessary to format and install window again. Use the recovery cd of Paragon Disk Manager and boot near cd. you can resize your primary partition and create logical partition on the extended area. If you want, i can dispatch you the small cd image.
dear frend yu in a minute put win xp's cd in yur workstation and rebooting from cd and yu delet all separator when installation ask yu for which drive yu want to install xp and after remoove all screen yu select space and make partion as yu want to generate and after than yu clelct any one partion to install yur win xp and the yu sleest option for formating it ntfs rapid or fat32 quick and after that yu install win xp step by step and after installation is complete yu format other drive from window explorere by clickin on each drive step by step
