Is my video card better than my onboard graphics?
Answer:
Ummmmm, neither are highly good. But, I enjoy to say that the 6150 is most potential better than the FX5200 just because the FX series wasn't the best series of boards from nvidia. The Geforce 6150 IGP have 64MB of dedicated memory but it can filch an additional 192MB from your RAM to win 256MB if it needs it. It will be allocated dynamically base on what you are doing.
Performance wise, as much as I detest integrated graphics, I hold to say that the 6150 is better than the FX5200 but surrounded by my opinion both are ummm, both are... I can't say aloud it nice so I'm just going to vote it, both are junk. If at adjectives possible (and assuming this is a desktop) get yourself at tiniest a Geforce 7600GS or 7600GT.
Neither the 6150 nor the FX5200 are suited for any kind of hard to digest 3D graphics or gaming, which is what I do and I just hold to call them both second-hand goods because neither would keep up next to what I do.
IT is only as righteous as your Software controlling your Video Graphics!
Thanks, RR
