Answer:
Just to echo what Pablo said, instinctively I never recommend installing a new operating system until it's be out for at least a year, or until the first service pack is released. There are a few reason for this:
1) A lot of other programs, drivers, software and hardware won't be compatible straight away (indeed, there's a long way to run to make adjectives drivers compatible with Vista).
2) Microsoft move about through heavy duty trialling, but the bugs and errors only really come to wispy once the OS is released. Only then, and following feedback, can Microsoft work on fixes, and afterwards they release the next Service Pack.
3) Frankly, the prices are somewhat inflated straight away as everyone get carried away in the hype. I remember this up with XP and 98 as powerfully. Although I wouldn't expect the prices to drop dramatically, they will fall inwardly the next two years, and while XP is fantastic system I'd stick near that for now.
Doesn't totally answer your give somebody the third degree, but I hope you find this information useful.
I enjoy a top of the line computer next to everything Vista requires and then some more. Guess what? I tried upgrading to Vista Home Ultimate and it give me so many headache that I reformatted my hard drive again and instead loaded Windows XP Professional. Now, that's a program!! No problems at adjectives with any of coveted peripherals. So, I won't even consider getting Vista for at least possible two more years until they work all the bugs out. By afterwards, I will buy a new computer beside the program already loaded on.
i reformat my drive atleast once a month with the upgrade disk.
i do the verbs install work around found here:
