Can i-tunes be well back up onto any external easier said than done drive?

Also have only 5gb of music on my computer, some photos etc (of which I want to backup), what sort of size complex drive should I be looking for? Do I need to spend that much more but for going to use loads of extra space on new thorny drive?

Find your music folder in my documents -> my music -> itunes music. C & P this to your untried hdd. The size of this folder is the size of the hdd you need. But near lowering prices you might as well but a 300gb'r
yeah jst move about to itunes music folder and then copy and historic all the folders into your driv.
