FX-57 or X2 4800 Socket 939?

Which one would be better for a harmonize of everything not just great at one item, just everything.

Answer:
If you own a socket 939 then be in motion with FX you will resembling the all around speed of things.
AM2 ... look for something closer to the 6000+ continuum.. maybe even 5200+
The X2 4800+...if you can still find one. Otherwise you'd own to get an Opteron 180...or even a 185. (note that not adjectives 939 boards can take socket 939 Opterons)

Opteron 165 at $99. I own one from when they came out a couple of years ago and compensated $329 lol.

Stock it is at 1.8ghz, but all of them can overclock to 2.5ghz. I hold a real accurate batch number and I hold it overclocked at 2.8ghz with a slight bump contained by voltage.

At this point in time it's pointless not to go dual core, especially if you want to extend the go of your s939 platform another year or two. I'll probably stick with mine until quad cores are logically priced.

NOTE- Any 939 board that will support an X2 will also support an Opteron, as the Opterons are basically mitt picked from the best 2x1mb L2 versions of the Athlon X2. They're designated "Server class" and are expected to run 24/7 x 365 days a year. They're the "pick of the litter", so to speak which is why they were mythological among overclockers in their sunshine.

From Wikipedia:
AMD has also released Socket 939 Opterons, reducing the cost of motherboards for low-end servers and workstations. Except for the reality they have 1MiB L2 Cache (versus 512KiB for the Athlon64) the Socket 939 Opterons are transposable to the San Diego and Toledo core Athlon 64s, but are run at lower clockspeeds than the cores are capable of, making them more stable. Since this ability that they overclock very capably, they were popular and contained by great demand.[citation needed] They are also the single dual core Socket 939 processors still easily available presently that the Athlon 64 X2s for that platform have be discontinued.
