How do i procure my disc drive to play my CD's if tha program is gone?

you can only just go to www.microsoft.com and download medium player there for free so you can play your CD's
from when did this started arranged? have u installed/uninstalled any programs beforehand this started acting up? are you getting any error messages when you are trying to play a cd? which software are you using to play the cd's?
Uninstall and re-install your DVD drive. Sounds like you are have a driver issue.
