Caqn you connect two sets of speakers to one computer?

i own monitor speakers and desktop speakers, can i connect both to my computer?

Answer:
I am guessing you have a line from each to connect to the computer. A simple Y connector approaching the one here

Should do the trick.
yes you can.
Split the wire which is comming from the laptop and connect it or if you do not want to cut the wire use the 5.1 or 7.1 nouns card .
Use a headphone splitter at socket if you just want to use as "twin stereo" plug into seperate ports if the nouns card supports surround.

IF you use former option, remember if the speakers are wires "out of phase" near the other set they will sort of cancel ewach other out. (if the coils are backwards relative to respectively other, so 1 cone goes within while the other goes out)

Try and see though
You can buy a y adapter and plug your speakers into it. Radio Shack will convey them.
