Laptop and speakers?

I enjoy a question, I am thinking nearly buying a lap top to replace the 2 year prehistoric system I have in a minute. I love the sound (music) I draw from out of the desk top. When I purchase a laptop and use it at home for music can I still use my old speakers and subwoofer (sp?) are in that places to hook up speakers on a lap top?.....thank you

Answer:
Laptops usually come next to one sound output so if your speakers connect to the laptop through only one connector you can use them. If respectively speaker has its own connector you cannot connect adjectives of them.
Hi. There are usually jacks for external speakers, or at the very lowest possible a headphone jack. Double check before you buy.
Well at tiniest mine does; you can plug the speaker in where on earth you would plug headphones into usual laptops.
All laptops must enjoy a headphone jack, I mean, that's resembling a standard. Since the headphone jack is digital audio, you should be able to split it, and even bring in it over 7 channel audio. I know my laptop have the ability to, and it's a crappy computer(at smallest to my standards).
Better to use with a dock station which is designed for more external devices.
