When i plug anything contained by it pops up..NOT CONNECTED?

after formatting my computer will not find my camera, mp3 player or anything else that plugs into that port. Ithink its the e drive on window xp. thanks

hold you put the drives back on if you formated your complex drive they will have be wiped bad
If your computer has an AMD CPU, and Viatech USB Host Controllers; shifting the USB Host Controller drivers to standard or generic drivers, may work. Sometimes, putting a line contained by config.sys, helps. ie. "lastdrive=m"
