Well I'm sure they are 512 MB's not 500 but anyway.. Turn off your computer, Unplug the power cord, and remove the side panel. Find the begin memory slots. Basically DDR 400 (PC3200) has 1 pockmark in it and within is a long side and a short side. Line the notch up near the RAM slot with the tab on each call a halt of the slot pushed out. Then insert the ram particularly double checking and making sure you line the serration up and the ends go into the slot. Then push down on it from the top on both ends at once you want to use some force but don't just slam it into it. Pushing within both ends at once assures proper allignment and keeps adjectives the little wires in place surrounded by the slot. Good Luck HTH.
turn off the computer. unplug the A/C dash cord from the wall.
Take the cover off the notebook. Find the memory slots. Assuming the slots are empty, push the little clip things away from respectively other. Carefully push your memory sticks in until the two little clip things pop up and can be snapped over the top of the memory card.
Put it adjectives back together and boot it up.
Open the armour with the power turned sour.
Remove the old RAM chips by pressing the tab on the ends of the chips.
Insert the new chips and press firmly till both tab make a click nouns.
Replace case and turn on the power.
Should be dutiful to go.
flip out the lock on both sides.. and follow the groove of the memory to the slot.. that will be your guide to fit the memory in the slot!
I am not sure of what liberal of computer you are having you should own been more specific. If you enjoy a laptop this is the typical way of installing a strike.

If you are having a desktop of late open the hood of CPU and u will find RAM surrounded by there only unlatch one of the RAM and place you new push in duplicate way. As a word of suspicion while installing RAM please do not use any tools. Just use your hand for the safekeeping of your computer.
its actually pretty natural.
1. unplug pc from wall. spread out your case. afterwards before putting your appendage inside the case touch the bag or something metal.
2. find your ram and on the sides you'll see 2 hooks holding the push in. click these away from the push. to the side.
3.take out ripened ram. place latest ram surrounded by. make sure you are putting it contained by the right way. (pay attn. to how they be put in when you clutch them out at first so you'll know how to correctly put them in)
4.place the ram contained by the slot and then press down on one come to an end until it makes a SNAP nouns. it will click. then do the other side and so on.

First of adjectives make sure you're grounded, if then simply discharge the static within your body by touching the case prior to touching the chip. When handling the chip do not touch the silicon chips or the gold ingots contact leads, hold it by the edges!
Removing the ripened memory requires unlocking the memory by simply rocking the 2 locks away from the memory chip, you'll feel them sort of snap sympathetic and the memory chip may pop up a bit.
Then just seize the chip by it's edges and pull it straight up and remove it. Installing the spanking new chips is just as jammy, they can only turn in one method due to an alignment notch on the memory chip and within the slot on the motherboard.
When you're inserting the new chips hold them by their edges, cautiously align them in the slot near the alignment notch, afterwards push down gently until you have a feeling the memory seat. Next squeeze the locks within towards the memory chip to lock it in place.
That's adjectives there is to it, reboot and chekc your exotic memory in the bios or simply hang about till you get to the desktop and check system properties.

Installation:
1. on motherboard if you enjoy filled adjectives fields for memory later pullout one
2. insert in memory grazing land (you cannot mistake with sides because strike have little unbroken in the middle, merely don't push hard to avoid breaking of motherboard or memory)
3. when you hear "click" on both sides that medium you have installed memory
NOTE: Memory must stay within its position, other way you can twist your ram...
