My gateway mediacenterpc installed beside yahoo ,yahoo can't find logitech cam?

I be fine until I think yahoo upgraded itself.I own a brand new logitech webcam{the one next to software that foloows you around the room] I've spent # DAYS trying to install but canNOT get yahoo to authorize my cam. EVERY WAY IMAGINABLE I have configured the drivers and installed/uninstalled everything,ports work,connections works uninstalled first,installed first,EVERYTHING,when I go back to elderly yahoo,still never worked again,while I s;ept yahoo updated itself to the new edition.ARRRGGGHHHHH!!! Calgon,take me away!!!!!!

Shut down Yahoo! Messenger if it is currently running.
From the Windows "Start" menu at the gone bottom of your screen, click "Run."
From the input nouns, type regedit and press "Enter." The registry editor application should open.
On the departed side, expand the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" folder (or key), then expand the "Software" folder lower than it and select "Yahoo."
If there is a "Webcam" folder, travel to the next step. If in attendance is no "Webcam" under the "Yahoo" folder, progress to the "Edit" menu and click "New Key" and type "Webcam."
Select the "Webcam" folder.
From the "Edit" menu click on "New" then "DWORD Value" and type "UseVFW" in need any spaces.
Double-click on the entry "UseVFW" and change the entry surrounded by Value data to "1." Then click "OK."
Exit the Registry Editor application.
Restart Yahoo! Messenger and try starting your webcam by clicking "Start My Webcam" from the "Messenger" menu located contained by the Yahoo! Messenger window.
