I own an external harddrive hooked up immediately how do i receive adjectives my files on it for backbone up?

From My Computer you should see the hot drive. You can use copy / paste or drag and drop newly like any other report copy. If you don't see it go to Control Panel / Administrative tools / Computer Management. Under the logical drives negotiator you should see the drive. It may be it needs formatting and a drive notification assigned. If you don't see it there it is not connecting correctly.
i right clicked on the files or folders i considered necessary to save and after clicked on send to that HD... within my case it be the E drive
I'd recommend you to backup your important background to that external drive using True Image by Acronis. In my opinion it is the best software available.

I also recommend you to use True Image. It have a scheduler and it will allow you perform an incremental backup. It will basically make your backup/restore tasks effortless, secure and as nippy as it possible.
