How can I verbs my pics from a CF mem card to my PC? I enjoy a card reader, but when I plug it contained by, zilch?

I plug the card reader into the USB port and nil happens. It does the little nouns that tells you some hardware be recognized, but after nothing. All I want to do is receive the pictures saved into a report on the computer. I must be stupid. The card reader didn't come with any software or instructions.

install picassa, and next plug in your photocard. picassa will introduction everything to the file of your choosing. it's pretty wearing clothes photo management software.
The card reader perchance faulty. The usb port itself conceivably faulty too, try another port. Also if you are using a publication of windows be 2000 you enjoy to install a driver before reading the card.
sounds approaching a hardware problem. Did your card reader come with installation software? - you might have need of it.

You can check the device manager to see if the computer detects it. Right click My Computer and select properties. Click the hardware tab, consequently click device manager.

Your CF reader should show up as a drive E: or what ever the subsequent open drive memo is... If it reads more than one type of card you will see a few drives you will have to enlarge each drive to find your files, the drive post may not always be surrounded by the same writ each time. Also progress to the control panel and scan for new hardware, if you don't see the drives...
