depends which type of 512 RAM are you tlaking about. Is it SDRAM, DDR Ram, or DDR2 bump? there are diff types out near. the important is you must using the right hit for your system. To do that, you could either unambiguous the case, remove one of the hit out, see the label or you can progress to http://crucial.com and has it scan your PC, then it will tellyou what type of knock against does your PC using, and how many you hold installed ,and how much more can you have.
Depends on what type of 512 your wanting..PC100-133-2100-2700-3... All depends on what type you requirement!
There is no such thing as nifty RAM, you need to check the model number of your computer, next try a google search for RAM upgrade for anything the model of your computer is, you should get some returns explaining the maximum amount of RAM you can install
stick beside lifetime warranties on RAM, unless you overclock your computer find out what is know to work beside it then turn from there.
There are so various different types of speeds of RAM it'll drive you crazy. There SDRAM, DDR1 and DDR2 and different speeds in respectively class, 70 or so dollars would be my limit on 512, but you have need of to know what you have, DDR1 and SDRAM(especially) should be cheaper.
what knock against do you want ddr or ddr 2 or old s d knock against i usually buy kingstin or crucial as they allways come with a duration time warranty and where to buy from use www.ebuyer.com thats where on earth most retail shops now buy from aswell
The aspect of memory depends on the maker. AI am frequently upgrading computers and I purchase my memory from any http://www.crucial.com or http://www.4allmemory.com both sites list their prices In a pinch I enjoy gone to the local computer store but I would advise you check the 2 sites first. Local vendor tend to charge more.
