1. no stipulation to download any software. just click start>run later type dxdiag in the box, later click on the display tab on top.
2. right click desktop go to propeties consequently click advance button, later click graphic display on top.

move about to start>all programs>accessories>system tools>system info and explore "graphics card" on bottom of window :)

If you shift to programs-->accessories-->syste... tools--> system information you can see what you need underneath video.
