It's possible your motherboard is not equipped near fan monitoring sensors. Check the actual electrical nouns between your CPU fan and your motherboard - does it own 2, 3, or 4 pins? Unless it has 3 pins (and 3 wires primary to them), it's not going to be able to inform you the speed.
Another thing to try is another product. hmonitor is pretty flawless in expressions of compatabiltiy. You only gain a 30-day trial, but it's enough for you to diagnose doesn`t matter what problem you have.
