Whats the push requirement for window vista.will 512md run into be average or will a 1gb will faster opearation?
Answer:
Windows Vista Home Basic
Recommended system requirements
1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
512 MB of system memory
20 GB complicated drive with at lowest possible 15 GB of available space
Support for DirectX 9 graphics and 32 MB of graphics memory
DVD-ROM drive
Audio Output
Internet access (fees may apply)
You will need at lowest possible 1.0GB RAM for Vista to work properly. 2GB and it will fly.
I have all the same to use Vista, but I have neard that it's a memory hog. Unsubstantiated rumors articulate that 1GB is the absolute minimum, near most recommending 2GB for probable operation.
I suspect you are going to be quite frustrated near 512MB; even running Win XP Pro on 512MB is quite an exercise within patience.
512 will run Home Basic Vista, 1GB will run Home Premium but 2GB will run any newspaper of Vista at good speeds

i really recomend 1gb !!!
right know im using window vista with 2gb and its super
but earlier i had 1 see and it was almost the some so 512mb is track to little
Unless the version of window vista that u will use is Windows Vista Basic !! Wich really sucks ...
right know im using Windows Vista Home Premium and it super !!
I recently bought a Dell Inspiron beside Vista preloaded. It is not a gaming/extreme performance setup by any mode. But I do not have any complaints running Home Premium next to 1Gig of RAM. If you go low on RAM, you will obligation a good video card and promptly processor. At a minimum, I suggest 1Gig. 2 would be far better.
512 MB is enough but 1 GB is faster and 2 GB is even more faster than 512 and 1 GB.
