I plug my USB but cannot see it, what can I do?

When I plug it within, a sound appears as if the USB is detected but it is not on My computer and does not apear anywhere. I own really important files in that

try looking on the tool bar in the neighbourhood the clock
it missess the driver for that usd device
If this is the first time you've plugged it in,
it wishes software to interpret wat the usb does
if you've left it within for a long time and it still doesn't work,
try any cds that came beside ti if there are any
run into my computer and then you see remove competent disc double click on that and that is the usb
if your are next to vister then it might be the usb i to outdated go to Microsoft.com and look near. If your are with XP consequently i think that you enjoy to update it and if that still don't help you if you enjoy the book look at the make and progress to there website.
be in motion 2 my computer n click on removable disc n click on it. if it doesn't work, ask someone else.
assuming the any drivers are loaded and this is a usd stick/pen drive, windows have probably assigined it a drive letter to be exact in use, therefor you wont see it. to evolution it,
right click on my computer, and choose manage
on the menu tree surrounded by the left paw windows, click disk headship.
in the right mitt window you will see adjectives the storage devices windows know about.
right click on the usb device within question, and choose make over drive letters and path.
change it to a drive dispatch you know is not used, a limiting will pop up about shifting drive letters, basically ok this.
you should now be capable of see your usb device.

refresh the pane, and press my computer
open my computer and see if it have a DRIVE letter such as F: USUALLY YOUR drives are A: FLOPPY B: and C: if you hold 2 hard drives or C: for one solely D: DVD-ROM E: DVD-BURNER. F: USUALLY REMOVABLE USB. DRIVE or G: can be any letter really. if it's not at hand WINDOWS is not detecting it try unplugging it and plugging it in again it should be detected save REBOOT the computer. if still not detected try installing it manually. ask windows to look for best USB DRIVER. on the internet should after work. or USB PORT IS FAULTY. try other ports if you have them. surely one of them will work. als check contained by devices/ properties. to make sure USB. ports are set up properly.
