Is your computer a few years old? It seem that your device is a USB 2.0 device, but the USB connection on your computer is an elder USB 1.0 or 1.1. The computer is informing you that the device would work faster if it were plugged into a USB 2.0 port.
You could upgrade your computer it USB 2.0 by installing a trial card with 2.0 ports on it.
Your device will still work fine lacking an upgrade, but file transfers will be slower. If speed isn't a critical issue, I recommend keeping the present system and allowing profile transfers plenty of time to complete. My guess that within a year or two, you'll be thinking of updating your computer system near a new computer which will aspect the newest, fastest gadget available.

I'm not exactly sure of the solution to this problem, but perchance you could download a new driver for the USB port.

If the specifications for the computer do not include a USB 2.0 port, then you can buy an add-in card that have several USB 2.0 ports on it and put that into an empty card slot near the USB connectors sticking out in the put money on.

Are you sure the USB ports on your computer are 2.0? Sometimes not adjectives of them are; you can try different ones.

well if it say it can preform faster then likelihood are you dont have a usb 2.0 slot they put on the market expansion cards that have the usb 2.0 slots on them you will newly have to bring back one of those if you want it to move faster its pretty cut and dry on this .
Everyone so far seems to own missed your statement that you ARE using a USB 2.0 port. My question is (don't hit me!) are you sure it's 2.0?
